Powering Scalable Digital Infrastructure (Data Centers) in Nigeria

Oats-Global Energy Limited (OGEL), through its special purpose vehicle, MOOG Power Limited (MPL), is developing a scalable, utility-grade power generation facility on its 94-hectare site in Imobi, Nigeria, strategically located along the shores of the Lekki Lagoon. In response to the accelerating global expansion of Fortune 500 cloud computing and artificial intelligence (AI) companies, OGEL considers the Imobi development to be uniquely positioned to deliver reliable, high-capacity power to energy-intensive customers, particularly hyperscale and enterprise data center developers seeking to access the broader ECOWAS regional market.

The initial development phase comprises two 375 MW generation blocks, delivering a total capacity of 750 MW (Phase I), with a clearly defined expansion pathway to four 375 MW blocks, achieving up to 1,500 MW. The project is designed with a strong preference for co-location with customer load, ideally integrating directly with data center developments to ensure optimal efficiency, reliability, and cost effectiveness.
